Last month, more than 70 people had been killed in Peru after the worst flooding in two decades. Indeed, thousands of people have been made homeless and a state of emergency declared in more than 800 cities. These tragedies affect the poor and many of those in Jesuit sponsored works. This event will offer help and support to the many families, homes, and neighborhoods hit hardest by this natural disaster. This dinner is a joint effort to raise funds among the 5 Jesuit works in Cincinnati to aid our sisters and brothers in need. Tickets are $50 a plate. Even if you cannot attend the dinner, you may make donations payable to “Bellarmine Chapel” and the donations will be forwarded to the Peru missions we all share in Lima.
